A five day ski program that runs from 10am to 4pm during the NZ school holidays. Ideal for improving your kids skills and confidence on the snow.
The Kea Holiday program is for all ability levels with an emphasis on fun and learning, and requires a certain level of stamina. Kids are grouped based on their ability and teamed up with top children's instructors from around the world.
A fun and easy way to learn about ski racing and what it has to offer for your child and your family. Coaches use a combination of natural terrain and structured environments that provide an appropriate level of challenge. By using a variety of terrain and features this allows athletes to execute skills more consistently and seamlessly regardless of skiing conditions. Being comfortable in multiple different environments helps to develop confidence and the ability to excel in the sport. Our goal for this program is to make life long and passionate skiers and ski racers.
Little Rippers is a five day learn to ski program at Coronet Peak that incorporates safety, learning and fun. Kids will be assigned to a group based on their ability (maximum group size of five), the groups will stay together during the program so that they can develop their technique, skiing ability and have the same coach each weekend over the five week program.
The Peak Squad ski or snowboard program at Coronet Peak focuses on developing strong athletes who can rip all over the mountain.
Racecourses, terrain parks, on and off-piste as well as chutes and steeps will all be used to challenge the young athletes within a safe and fun environment. Each Peak Squad participant will be assigned to a group based on their ability to learn and develop solid basic technique for both racing, free skiing or riding.
Developed for women, by women, the program includes all day group lessons over both days with Coronet Peaks top notch coach/instructors.
The program focuses on camaraderie and improving skills to help learning in a supportive environment. Small groups focus on technique with leading female coaches/instructors. The program includes coffee, great food and après-ski time as well as technique video analysis.
Salomon will be at Coronet Peak over the weekend with female skis available for you to test.
Our Rookie Instructor Program is NZSki’s instructor apprenticeship during which you will experience ski and/or snowboard instructor training of the highest quality.
