Experience some of the best views in Queenstown from the top of Coronet Peak. The Peak Gondola takes you to just below the summit of the mountain where you can walk out onto the viewing platform to enjoy stunning views over the Whakatipu basin.
When:
- Daily operations from 9:00am - 3:00pm during the winter season of 14 June – 28 September 2025
- Operations are subject to conditions can change throughout the day, please check the Snow Report on our website for updates and to confirm if the Peak Gondola is operating prior to travel to the ski area.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Enclosed sturdy footwear is required, you can hire snow boots from our Rentals department inside the base building on the mountain.
Note: Children 0-5 and seniors 75+ can access the lifts for free but need a valid MyPass card to access lifts. For these age ranges, you can purchase a free 3 Peak Pass online until 1 June, or through Guest Services at any time.
Collect your MyPass Card:
Your ticket to access the lifts and services at Coronet Peak, The Remarkables or Mt Hutt you will need a MyPass Card assigned to your profile with your products loaded onto it.
- Skied with us before? Great, welcome back! If you already have your MyPass card, you can use this again to access our lifts, pick up your rentals, or to join your Snowsports lesson.
- Purchased online? You can collect your MyPass Card by scanning the barcode in your confirmation email at one of our Kiosks or by visiting Guest Services.
- Queenstown Snow Centre: If you're planning to visit Coronet Peak or The Remarkables in Queenstown, we recommend you collect your MyPass card in advance at The Snow Centre at 25 Shotover Street.
