Full Day Group Lesson

Whether it’s your first time on snow or you're aiming to refine your technique, our full-day Group Lessons will elevate your skiing or riding skills with expert guidance from our coaches. With small groups, you’ll enjoy plenty of focused attention and tons of fun along the way. 

Ages: 

• Skiing: 4-15 years
• Snowboarding: 7-15 years
• Adults: 16+ years
• Note: Kids aged 13+ may join adult lessons if space allows; check with Snowsports staff prior to the 10am start.
• Exclusive to Coronet Peak: Kids (4-15) can add an optional supervised lunch. This must be added at the time of booking. 

Time: 

• 10am – 3:30pm, includes a one-hour lunch break
• In the unlikely event that a lesson has only one person in it, there will be a reduced lesson time. 

Lesson Meeting Points: 

Arrive at the Snowsports meeting area (look for the flags) on snow by 9:45am with all your equipment ready 

• The Remarkables: Directly outside the base building onto the snow
• Coronet Peak: Opposite Meadows Express, just past the east end of the Coronet Peak deck 

Select Your Lesson Ability Level: 

• First Timer: Never skied or snowboarded before. A perfect introduction to the snow.
• Learner Zone: Comfortable with the basics, working on turning and speed control on learner areas.
• Green Zone: Skiing or riding with confidence and in control on Green runs. Ready to progress to Blue runs.
• Blue Zone: Comfortable on Blue runs and gaining confidence for Red runs.
• Red Zone: Skilled and confident on a variety of difficult Blues and easy Red runs. Focus on refining technique and tackling steeper, more demanding slopes.
• Black Zone: Confident on Black runs and ready to conquer all mountain conditions and terrain.

Helpful Tips: 

• Before heading to the lifts or collecting your Rental Equipment you will need to get your MyPass Card. This is your ticket to the mountain and you can print it from one of our Kiosks by scanning the barcode in your order confirmation email or by visiting Guest Services.
• You can visit the team at the Snow Centre, 25 Shotover St in the afternoon the day before you head up the mountain. Here you can pick up your MyPass Card then get fitted and collect your Rental Equipment.
• Alternatively, plan to be on the mountain one hour before your lesson start time to collect your MyPass Card from our Kiosks or Guest Services and your Rental Equipment.
• Allow extra travel time during peak times or winter conditions 

Catching the Ski Bus? 

• Please reserve the appropriate Ski Bus departure time for the mountain your lesson is booked for.
• Ski Bus reservations are not included in this product and can be purchased separately.
• If you have booked a morning lesson we recommend reserving based on the below times:
  • Coronet Peak Ski Bus: please reserve the 8am departure time
  • The Remarkables Ski Bus: please reserve the 7:30am departure time 

To Change Your Booking:  

You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.  

• Log in to your account and head to your Profile page 
• Select "Overview and then "Order History" 
• Find your order and select "DETAILS" 
• Select "RESERVATIONS" 
• Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date. 

Note: If you made your reservation over the phone or in person, please contact Guest Services on info@nzski.com (use subject line "Reschedule Reservation"). 

Changing Lesson Reservations:  

Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.
