Designed for families and friends ready to share an unforgettable mountain adventure, the Family Private Experience is all about personalised coaching and creating memories together. With one of our expert instructors dedicated to your group, everyone—whether just starting out or honing advanced skills—will enjoy a day filled with fun, laughter, and the thrill of progression on the slopes. 

From mastering those first turns to tackling new terrain, our instructor will tailor the experience to each participant’s level, ensuring everyone gets the support and encouragement they need. With space for up to six people, it's an ideal way for families or groups to bond on the snow.

Booking Made Easy: 

Simply book this session for yourself and let us know how many are joining before you check out—no need for each guest to book separately.

Coaching Times: 

  • Full Day: 9am - 3:30pm

Coach Meeting Points: 

Meet your coach 15 minutes before your lesson at the Private Coaching flag in the Snowsports area, ready to go with gear and your MyPass Card.

  • Coronet Peak: Opposite Meadows Express, just past the end of the Coronet Peak deck.
  • The Remarkables: Directly outside the base building onto the snow. 

Helpful Tips: 

  • Before heading to the lifts or collecting your Rental Equipment you will need to get your MyPass Card. This is your ticket to the mountain and you can print it from one of our Kiosks by scanning the barcode in your order confirmation email or by visiting Guest Services.
  • You can visit the team at the Snow Centre, 25 Shotover St in the afternoon the day before you head up the mountain. Here you can pick up your MyPass Card or pick up your rental gear.
  • Alternatively, plan to be on the mountain one hour before your lesson start time to collect your MyPass Card from our Kiosks or Guest Services and your Rental Equipment.
  • Allow extra travel time during peak times or winter conditions 

Catching the Ski Bus?

Please reserve the appropriate Ski Bus departure time for the mountain your lesson is booked for. Ski Bus reservations are not included in this product and can be purchased separately. If you have booked a morning lesson we recommend reserving based on the below times. 

  • Coronet Peak Ski Bus: please reserve the 8am departure time
  • The Remarkables Ski Bus: please reserve the 7:30am departure time

To Change Your Booking:  

You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.  

  • Log in to your account and head to your Profile page 
  • Select "Overview and then "Order History" 
  • Find your order and select "DETAILS" 
  • Select "RESERVATIONS" 
  • Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date. 

Note: If you made your reservation over the phone or in person, please contact Guest Services on info@nzski.com (use subject line "Reschedule Reservation"). 

Changing Lesson Reservations:  

Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.
