Junior Performance Academy - 12 Day Camp

Whether your mission is carving in the race course or the groomers like a pro, nail jaw-dropping tricks in the park, or conquer big mountain terrain, JPA offers elite world class coaching turning what may feel impossible into reality for aspiring junior skiers. If you've grown out of Rippers, Rippers Enduro or bored with other programmes and ready to achieve great heights, we're ready for you! 

We recommend you've completed Rippers, Rippers Enduro or QAST holiday programmes before moving into the JPA envioronment. JPA offers a mix of ski race, park, and freeride training at a junior/youth performance level. 

The outstanding benefit of the Junior Performance Academy (JPA) is the calibre and quaity of our dedicated coaching team. Not picked 'off the street', unqualified or fresh out of programmes themselves, these coaches have worked with high performance kids all over the world. 

Highlights: 

• World-Class Coaching: Highly qualified coaches bring global experience and hands-on instruction, with a coach-to-athlete ratio of 1:6 for focused learning.
• Comprehensive 12-Day Programme: Spread over two 10 day blocks plus 2 race days during the NZ July school holidays, this programme will primarily be based at Coronet Peak.
• Opportunities to Compete: Athletes will have the chance to compete in local competitions, from junior and school ski races to fun mininshred/park and freeride grassroots events. 

Ages: 

• 5-12 years
• 13-17 years
• Groups will be divided based primarily on technical ability, followed by age. 

Programme Schedule: 

• Training Times: 9am – 2:30pm
• Start Date: Sunday 29 June 2025 S
• Schedule: 12 days across the NZ July school holidays and includes 2 days of races at end.

Uniforms: 

Junior Performance Academy athletes wear JPA uniforms for training and any event days, available for purchase at our retail shops on the mountain (additional cost).
