Queenstown Local Schools Camps

Over 3 consecutive days, you’ll get after it with coaches who know how to push you – working on technique, speed, tackling new terrain, and building that all-important confidence. It’s about making real progress in a short time, with tips and drills tailored to take you further, faster. 

Here’s what’s in store: 

• Experienced instructors will guide each group through tailored drills, terrain exploration, and technical riding that unlocks confidence and style. 
• Equipment rental of skis or snowboard, and boots is covered if required. All you need is your gear-ready attitude. Clothing hire is available for additional costs. Glove, goggle and hat rental is not available for hygiene reasons. 
• Times: Camps run from 9.30am – 2pm with a quick lunch break to recharge. Buses head back to school around 2:15pm. 
• Transport: We’ve got access to only four buses per camp, make sure you book early. 
• Lift passes are not included. All students on camps must hold a heavily discounted 3 Peak Local Schools’ Season Pass, available for purchase before 1 June, to join in the fun. 

Camp Selection & Availability: 

• Your school will guide you on which camp to register for. 
• Availability is limited, but if you miss out, check for other available camps for your child's year group. 
• If you are attending a camp which is not allocated for your school, you will need to arrange your own transport/support on mountain. 
• Important: Camp names include abbreviations which correspond to each Local School and are as follows: 
  • SPS = Shotover Primary School 
  • TKWK = Te Kura Whakatipu o Kawarau 
  • RPS = Remarkables Primary School 
  • KPS = Kingsview Primary School 
  • StJo = St Joseph's School 
  • APS = Arrowtown Primary School 

These camps focus on taking your skiing or riding to a whole new level through intense, focused coaching.
