Technique Tune-Ups

Focused Coaching | Small Groups | Red & Black Zone Ability 

Technique Tune-Ups are focused, small-group sessions for advanced skiers and riders (Red–Black Zone) who want to push beyond the basics and master specific skills. 

These advanced sessions zero in on precision, efficiency and power - fine-tune your stance, edge control, timing and terrain tactics so you move with confidence on any snow. Perfect for strong skiers and riders who want to carve cleaner, charge steeps, increase stability at speed and turn great technique into elite-level execution. 

Lesson Time: 10:00am – 3:30pm with a 50-minute lunch break. Available Monday – Friday 

Ages: Adults 16+ years 

Disciplines to Choose From (select when booking) 

Ski: 

• Mon - Carving and precision 
• Tue - Park and freeride terrain mastery 
• Wed - Freestyle & park tricks 
• Thu - Off piste and/or powder 
• Fri - Perfecting technique 

Snowboard: 

• Mon - Carving and precision 
• Tue - Intro to park 
• Wed - Freestyle and park tricks 
• Thu - Off piste and/or powder 
• Fri - Perfecting technique

Who It’s For 

• Red–Black Zone (advanced level) 
• Skiers and snowboarders looking to specialise or sharpen their technique 
• Anyone ready to explore new terrain and skills in a structured, fun setting 

Coach Meeting Points: 

Check in at 9.45am at the Snowsports Technique Tune Up flag. Ensure you have all your equipment ready to go and your pass ready for scanning. 

• The Remarkables: Outside the base building on the snow 
• Coronet Peak: Beside the clocktower 

Getting To Your Lesson on Time: 

• Arrive 1 hour before your lesson if collecting rental gear or your MyPass card/Lift Pass on the day 
• Allow extra travel time during peak periods or in winter conditions 
• Taking the Ski Bus from Queenstown? Please book a departure time that gets you to the mountain well ahead of your lesson: 
  • Coronet Peak Ski Bus: Book the 7:30am departure 
  • The Remarkables Ski Bus: Book the 7:30am departure 

Ski Bus is not included in this product and must be booked separately. 

To Change Your Booking:  

• You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability 
• Log in to your account and head to your Profile page  
• Select "Overview and then "Order History"  
• Find your order and select "DETAILS"  
• Select "RESERVATIONS"  
• Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date 
• Note: If you made your reservation over the phone or in person, please contact Guest Services on info@nzski.com (use subject line "Reschedule Reservation"). 

Changing Lesson Reservations: Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.
