Early Winter Snowplay & Sightseeing Package

Enjoy the best of both worlds. A scenic Peak Gondola ride to panoramic views over Queenstown from the top of Coronet Peak, plus access to our dedicated sledding lanes with sled hire for some downhill thrills. It’s the perfect winter combo for first-timers, snow lovers and anyone chasing that magic Coronet experience.

Includes: 

• Unlimited Gondola Rides at Coronet Peak between: 
  • 10am – 3pm from 29 May – 12 June 
  • 9:00am - 3:00pm from 13 June – 4 October 
  • Please note that the Peak Gondola operates subject to mountain conditions and these can change throughout the day, so please check the Snow Report before heading up the mountain. 
• Access to Viewing Platform near the summit for epic mountain vibes 
• 2 Hour Sled Hire for use in our designated sledding lane 
• Access to Magic Carpet Lifts for our designated Sledding Lane from 29 May – 12 June. From 13 June our Sledding Lane moves to another area near the base building without Magic Carpet Lifts, but with stunning views.
• Please Note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. 

What to Bring and Know: 

• First time heading up Coronet Peak? Please check out Getting Here page for tips on getting up here before you come up. 
• Wear warm clothes – it's cold up here in winter so please dress appropriately. 
• Think layers, gloves, beanies and appropriate footwear such as enclosed hiking boots. Snow Boots, Jackets and Trousers are available to hire from us on the mountain. 
• Snow gloves are available to purchase from our retail shop on the mountain.

Please note: This package is only available to book online for the period 30 May to 12 June. After this date, you can purchase this package on the day (subject to availability) through Guest Services on the mountain or at the Queenstown Snow Centre.
