Available 29 May – 12 June 2026. Our Early Winter First Timer Package is crafted for first-time skiers and snowboarders to jumpstart their snow journey when the slopes are quiet and before the mountain fully opens for the season. 

Includes: 

  • Early Winter Access Pass: Access to surface (conveyor) lifts from 10am – 3pm 
  • Full-Day Group Lesson: From 10am – 3pm (includes break for lunch) 
    • Kids aged 13+ may join adult lessons if space allows - see the Snowsports staff at check-in 
  • Equipment Rental: Skis/snowboard, boots, poles/wristguards, and helmet included. 
    • You can get fitted to and collect your Rental Equipment on the mountain 
    • Please ensure you have your MyPass card with you before heading to the Rentals department (details below). 
    • Please allow sufficient time to get fitted to your rental equipment any delays can mean you miss your lesson. 
  • Peak Gondola Access: Unlimited Gondola Rides to the top of Coronet Peak between 10am and 3pm. Perfect if you're looking for a visit to the top during your lunch break. 
    • Please note that the Peak Gondola operates subject to mountain conditions and these can change throughout the day, so please check the Snow Report before heading up the mountain. 
  • Access to Viewing Platform near the summit for epic mountain vibes 

What's Not Included: 

  • Jacket & Pants Rentals are not included - these can be hired from us separately. 
  • For hygiene reasons we do not hire Googles, Hats or Gloves, but you can purchase these from our retail shop on mountain. 

To Change Your Booking:  

  • You can make some changes to your reservations, subject to availability.  
  • Log in to your account and head to your Profile page  
  • Select "Overview and then "Order History"  
  • Find your order and select "DETAILS"  
  • Select "RESERVATIONS"  
  • Select "RESCHEDULE" and then your preferred date. 
  • Note: If you made your reservation over the phone or in person, please contact Guest Services on info@nzski.com (use subject line "Reschedule Reservation"). 

Changing Lesson Reservations: Lessons are subject to availability and must be rescheduled no later than 24 hours before your lesson start time.
