Coronet Peak & The Remarkables 

The Junior Performance Academy is where young skiers and riders take their skills to the next level with world-class coaching across alpine racing, freeride, and park. 

Whether it’s carving like a pro, mastering steeps, or learning new tricks in the park, JPA blends high-performance training in a supportive, progressive environment.

New instalment option available | $50 initial payment, pay the rest next year

Who It’s For: 

  • Graduates of Black Zone Rippers or Black Zone Local School Camps 
  • Athletes from other competitive programmes 
  • Skiers/riders confident on advanced terrain 
  • Ages: 5 - 12 and 13 - 17 years

Schedule: 

  • Total Days: 22 (12 days during July school holidays + 10 Saturdays in Term 3) 
    • Some JPA families request to extend training days to Fridays and Sundays for extra coaching or event support. This is available when minimum numbers are met. A full calendar is provided upon signup. 
  • Start Date: Sunday 5 July 2026 
  • Time: 9:00am – 2:30pm daily (check-in from 8:45am) 
  • Add-ons: Optional extra coaching days available to book for events 

Where: Coronet Peak & The Remarkables 

  • Holiday Block: Primarily at Coronet Peak (conditions dependent) 
  • Term 3 Block: Park, Freeride and Race block primarily at The Remarkables (conditions dependent) 

Programme Highlights: 

  • Elite Coaches: All JPA coaches have competed internationally in at least one of the programmes disciplines, and each is a minimum Level 3 (international level) qualified instructor/coach. That means your child is getting the best of the best with expert coaching and strong athlete connections that boost both enjoyment and performance. 
  • Small Group Focus: Industry-best 1:6 coach-to-athlete ratio ensures individual attention and accelerated progression 

Multi-Discipline Training: 

  • Race: Chase precision, speed, and race-day confidence 
  • Freeride: Control, technique and creativity on natural steeps and challenging terrain 
  • Park: Learn exciting tricks and techniques in a safe, supportive, and progression-focused environment. 

Other Info: 

  • Uniforms: JPA uniforms are optional and available to purchase from our Coronet Peak retail shop during the first block. (Additional cost applies). 
  • Equipment Rental or Lift Passes are not included, please arrange separately as required.
